- IT Services: IT support, network setup, AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts), server setup, cybersecurity consulting, and managed IT services.
- Web Hosting Services: Shared hosting, VPS hosting, dedicated servers, domain registration, SSL certificates, and website management.
- Solar Products & Solutions: Solar panels, inverters, batteries, solar kits, and ancillary components.
- Solar Installation Services: On-site survey, design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of solar PV systems.
- Ecommerce Retail: Online sale of IT and solar products via WooCommerce-powered storefront.

2. Definitions
- "User" / "You" / "Customer" — any individual or entity accessing the Website or purchasing products/services.
- "Order" — a purchase request submitted by a Customer through the Website or offline.
- "Products" — physical goods (IT hardware, solar equipment, accessories) listed on the Website.
- "Services" — IT services, web hosting plans, solar installation services, and related professional services.
- "Content" — all text, images, videos, data, and other materials on the Website.
- "Agreement" — these Terms & Conditions together with our Privacy Policy, any applicable Service Level Agreement (SLA), and any Order confirmation.
3. Eligibility & Account Registration
- You must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into contracts under Indian law (Indian Contract Act, 1872) to use our Website or purchase from us.
- If registering on behalf of a business entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
- You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during registration and to update it as necessary.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that we believe have provided false information or violated these Terms.
4. Products – Ecommerce (IT Products & Solar Equipment)
4.1 Product Listings & Accuracy
We make reasonable efforts to ensure product descriptions, specifications, images, and pricing are accurate. However, errors may occur. We reserve the right to correct errors and to cancel orders placed at an incorrect price, notifying you promptly with a full refund if payment has been made.
4.2 Pricing & GST
All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR). Prices are inclusive/exclusive of GST as indicated on the product page. Applicable taxes (GST, cess) will be clearly displayed at checkout. Prices may change without prior notice.
4.3 Order Placement & Acceptance
- Adding items to cart and placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase.
- A binding contract is formed only when we send you an Order Confirmation email.
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including for out-of-stock items or suspected fraudulent activity, with a full refund where applicable.
4.4 Payment
- Payments are processed through our WooCommerce-integrated payment gateway.
- We accept credit cards, debit cards, UPI, net banking, and other methods as displayed at checkout.
- All transactions are encrypted (SSL/TLS). We do not store full card details on our servers.
- For large orders, we may require advance payment, a purchase order, or a bank transfer.
4.5 Shipping & Delivery
- We ship to addresses within India. Estimated delivery timelines are provided at checkout and are indicative, not guaranteed.
- Risk of loss transfers to you upon delivery to the shipping carrier.
- Large or fragile items (solar panels, inverters) may require specialised freight — additional charges and extended timelines apply.
- Inspect goods upon delivery and report damage within 48 hours with photographic evidence.
4.6 Returns, Replacements & Refunds

Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7–14 business days of receiving the returned product.
5. IT Services Terms
5.1 Scope of Services
IT services are delivered as per an agreed Statement of Work (SOW) or service agreement. Any work beyond the agreed scope requires a written change request and additional charges.
5.2 Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC)
- AMC coverage, response times, and inclusions/exclusions are defined in the individual AMC agreement.
- AMC fees are payable in advance (annually or quarterly as agreed).
- Consumables, hardware replacements, and third-party software licences are not included unless explicitly stated.
- AMC does not cover damage caused by misuse, power surges, acts of God, or third-party interference.
5.3 Customer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate information, timely access to systems, and a safe working environment for our technicians.
- Maintain backups of data before any service visit. We are not liable for accidental data loss during service.
- Ensure software licences in your environment are legally obtained.
5.4 Service Cancellation by Customer
Project-based service cancellations require written notice. Work completed up to the cancellation date will be invoiced. Prepaid service fees are non-refundable unless Teche Center is unable to perform the agreed services.
6. Web Hosting Services Terms
6.1 Service Availability (Uptime)
We target 99.9% monthly uptime for hosting services. Downtime caused by scheduled maintenance (notified 48 hours in advance), force majeure, customer actions, or third-party failures is excluded from SLA calculations.
6.2 Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
You agree not to use our hosting services to:
- Host, transmit, or distribute illegal content under Indian law, including content prohibited by the IT Act 2000 and IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
- Send spam, unsolicited bulk emails, or engage in phishing activity.
- Host malware, viruses, ransomware, or any malicious code.
- Conduct distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks or port scanning of third-party networks.
- Infringe intellectual property rights of any third party.
- Mine cryptocurrency without our prior written consent.
- Use resources that adversely affect other customers on shared hosting environments.
6.3 Suspension & Termination of Hosting
We may suspend or terminate hosting accounts immediately and without prior notice if we detect AUP violations, malware, or activity that endangers our infrastructure or other customers. You will be notified as soon as practicable. No refund is issued for AUP-related terminations.
6.4 Data Backup
We perform periodic server-level backups on a best-effort basis. These are for disaster recovery purposes only and are not a substitute for your own backups. You are responsible for maintaining your own website backups.
6.5 Domain Registration
Domain registrations are subject to the policies of the relevant registry (e.g., NIXI for .in domains, ICANN for gTLDs). Domains are registered in your name. We facilitate registration but are not the registry. Renewal is your responsibility; we will send reminders but are not liable for expired domains.
7. Solar Products & Installation Services
7.1 Solar Product Warranties
Solar panels, inverters, and batteries carry manufacturer warranties as specified in product documentation. Teche Center facilitates warranty claims but the warranty obligation rests with the manufacturer. Installation workmanship is warranted by us for 12 months from commissioning date.
7.2 Site Survey & Design
Solar system sizing and design are based on information provided by you (roof area, electricity consumption data, shading conditions). System performance estimates are indicative and depend on actual solar irradiance, load patterns, and maintenance. We do not guarantee specific energy generation or savings figures.
7.3 Installation
- You must obtain all necessary permissions, NOCs, and government approvals (including DISCOM net-metering approvals) prior to installation. We may assist but bear no liability for delays caused by regulatory processes.
- Structural integrity of roof/mounting structure is your responsibility. Our installation warranty does not cover structural failures.
- You must ensure safe and unimpeded access to the installation site during agreed working hours.
7.4 Payment Terms for Solar Projects
Unless agreed otherwise in writing, solar installation projects follow this payment schedule:
- 50% — on Order Confirmation / Contract Signing
- 40% — on delivery of equipment to site
- 10% — on commissioning and handover
Non-payment of any instalment may result in suspension of installation works.
7.5 Solar Service & AMC
Post-warranty solar AMC services cover cleaning, performance monitoring, minor repairs, and annual inspections as per the respective AMC agreement. Inverter/battery replacements and structural repairs are chargeable separately.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the Website — including logos, trade names, product descriptions, photographs, code, and design — is the property of Teche Center or its licensors and is protected under Indian copyright law (Copyright Act, 1957) and trademark law. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Website for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
9. User Conduct & Prohibited Activities
When using the Website, you agree not to:
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Website or our systems.
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code.
- Scrape, spider, or use automated tools to extract data from the Website without written permission.
- Post false, misleading, or defamatory reviews or comments.
- Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the Website's functionality.
- Use the Website in violation of any applicable Indian law or regulation.
10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
THE WEBSITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by Indian law.
10.1 IT Products & Services
We are not liable for data loss, business interruption, or consequential damages arising from IT service delivery or product failure. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.
10.2 Solar Systems
We do not guarantee specific energy generation outputs, subsidy eligibility, or DISCOM approval timelines. Actual solar yield varies with weather, shading, load usage, and equipment degradation over time.
10.3 Web Hosting
We are not liable for loss of data, revenue, or business arising from hosting downtime, cyber attacks, or hardware failures beyond our reasonable control. Our maximum liability for any hosting-related claim is limited to fees paid in the preceding one month.
10.4 General Cap
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising from or relating to these Terms shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to us in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Teche Center, its proprietor, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of the Website or services; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your infringement of any third-party rights; or (d) any content you submit or transmit through the Website.
12. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, natural disasters, floods, earthquakes, epidemics/pandemics, war, strikes, government-imposed restrictions, power outages, internet backbone failures, or actions of third-party service providers.
13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, or the breach thereof, shall be subject to:
- Informal Resolution: Contact us first at contact@techecenter.com. We will attempt to resolve disputes amicably within 30 days.
- Mediation: If informal resolution fails, parties agree to attempt mediation before initiating formal legal proceedings.
- Jurisdiction: For any legal proceedings that cannot be resolved through the above, the courts of India shall have exclusive jurisdiction. The specific court location shall be the court having jurisdiction over the registered place of business of Teche Center.
Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief to protect intellectual property or confidential information.
Consumer disputes may also be referred to the relevant Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
14. Cancellation of Orders & Services
14.1 Cancellation by Customer
- Product Orders: You may cancel before shipment for a full refund. Once shipped, the return policy (Section 4.6) applies.
- Hosting Plans: Cancel anytime from your account dashboard. Refunds are pro-rated for annual plans (less setup fees) within the first 30 days; no refund thereafter.
- IT Service Projects: See Section 5.4.
- Solar Projects: Cancellation after material procurement attracts costs for materials procured, restocking, and any site-preparation work completed. Advance payments may be partially forfeited as per the project agreement.
14.2 Cancellation by Teche Center
We reserve the right to cancel any order or terminate any service with reasonable notice (14 days where practicable) due to: stock unavailability, pricing errors, AUP violations, or business exigencies. A full refund of amounts paid will be provided in such cases.
15. Privacy
Your use of the Website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using our Website or services, you consent to the collection and use of information as described therein.
16. Electronic Communications & Records
By using the Website or emailing us, you consent to receive communications from us electronically. You agree that electronic contracts, notices, disclosures, and other communications satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing, as provided under the Information Technology Act, 2000.
17. Amendments to These Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time by posting an updated version on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Material changes will be notified via email or a prominent Website notice at least 14 days before they take effect for existing customers. Continued use of the Website or services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
19. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any applicable Service Agreement, SOW, or AMC, constitute the entire agreement between you and Teche Center with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, representations, and agreements, whether oral or written.
